Had this girl for awhile but kept postponing on posting her here, mostly due to certain sentiments going around. so I'll just say it flat-out; anyone who thinks of commenting "ACAB" here shouldn't even bother. Either unfollow, or keep that to yourself.

I'm fucking tired of arguing over this shit. Yes, RL police force is rife with corruption, racism and fascist elements rotting the institution from within. No, it does not mean positive depiction of cops in fiction enables RL copaganda. You can acknowledge real life issues and still portray fictional depiction of what we feel they should *BE* like, serving the public and fairly upholding order and peace. ANYWAYS!!

Meet Jessica Perez, age 33. Adrian's former babysitter and longtime friend, she's been serving on the force for past 8 years. Extremely good judge of character and level-headed, coupled with her gentle and kind disposition she's very much skilled at defusing hostile situations without use of force. So much so that her superiors occasionally pair her up with rookies who are eager to prove themselves yet are a bit too quick on the trigger, so she can reign them in. Although, her preferred choice of partner is her own mentor and friend Marcus Bromfield, a burly lion of a man (who's happily married, so their relationship is strictly friendly) who showed her the ropes when she was just starting out as a police officer.

Her kind and sweet personality has earner her adoration and respect of a lot of people, though as some crooks found out it shouldn't be mistaken for weakness. In particularily tough situations, she won't hesitate to bring down any dirtbags who harm the innocent or cause trouble. Despite her diminutive appearance, she's quite skilled in CQC and can easily bring down a perp twice her size.
