Initially I had envisioned him sneaking out of the bedroom, but when trying to find backgrounds, I sort of changed the location as it were, so you're perfectly justified in thinking they're standing outside the bedroom door.
In this suite, there is an entrance hallway, which leads to the large octagonal living room. On either side of the hallway are other rooms that semi-interconnect, Immediately off the hallway, on the left is a dining area, and on the right, a library-study. Beyond those are bedrooms and bathrooms.
