This is such a sad picture...

I can relate to a degree. I used to hate shopping for clothing too because nothing ever fit or looked good on me. (I still don't like it, and avoid it like the plague, but at least now I have enough clothing to where i think I can get out of it for another 10 years).

It can be _very_ discouraging. I found myself today just wanting to give up... The staff were so helpful but were... overly helpful. "You don't look happy!"

I wish clothes could just... fit. (Also be free.)

I know what you mean... the worst is going shopping with family including younger siblings.. they have a tendancy to be impaitent while something isn't fitting and you're trying to find something that does.. :( I have a lot of awful memories around that... *hugs tight*

Its fucking terrible on both ends of the stick.. When people are impatient, or when people are TOO patient, and set on getting you to find something (especially when you're so sick of shopping, and want to go home.)

I hated clothes-shopping with my mom. She'd always pick clothes I didn't like the looks or feel of, and only int he past few years could she pick out a shirt or pants or two that are hardcore great.

I think the next thing that was the most aggravating is dealing with someone who is completely impatient, and brought you 'somewhere' just to get you a few clothes and get *out*. .. not caring if they look good, nto caring if you fit, not caring if you're comfortable, not caring about you.

I'm sorry that you're crying in the changing room. I sure hope this isn't a weight-owrry picture, because no matter what size you are, there are enough people like you to make clothes for it-- it's not abnormal or something to be ashamed of.

Yeesh... I can't say I've had such experiences with clothes-shopping, mainly because I know what sizes fit me already... plus I shop at Wal-Mart. No changing room in which to get frustrated and the cheapest prices around; all I do is walk in, grab what I need, pay, and walk out.

It's a little depressing that what fits is the biggest stuff they have there, but... (shrugs) short of a miracle I'm not ABLE to lose any weight, so I just deal with it.

Some stores suck, some stores are awesome. Just takes a while to find the right ones.

I've honestly had more success with buying clothes online than I have at stores. Ebay is fucking awesome when you know what to look for, and I'm a big girl.

I completley feel you on this one.
I'm inbetween "fat fucking cow" and "sort of normal" size, so NOTHING fits correctly.

I JUST bought a bathing suit.... and I had to settle for one I really didn't like, because as the sales associate said... "Oh, the D size cup isn't really a D."

Like, what the fuck?

Ugh. I like shoping but i hate the following
Bathing suit shopping
Bra shopping
Shoe shopping.

My boobs are too big/waist too narrow for "normal" bras and bathing suits

And my feet are like size 5-6 womens. and ridiculously narrow.
