The morning show on Flint, Michigan FM radio station WWCK held a weekly contest for listeners to call in with their favorite airable jokes. I won on at least two occasions. I actually wrote an original joke connected to a famous local company:

Why is taste-testing the best job at Koegel Meats? Because where else can you be full of baloney and be paid for it?

At the time, I was involved with quality control at a pickle cannery--which is where I got the idea. Koegel hot dogs are the best and served at many restaurants in Michigan btw.
