Commission for
ashkihyena of Saurus, the supervillain from my Zodiac comic and a comic of his own. There have been some questions of what the prison units in Hades, a prison for super-villains, look like. Most all of them look like this. They are put in suspended animation where vitals are slowed to a minimum and they are subjected to programmed dreaming in an attempt to rehabilitate them. Most villains find this treatment very disagreeable and would much rather do time in an actual prison but this is seen as too much of a risk.

Glad to see it finished!
Also as I wrote in the note I was damn well curious to see what it was like on an inmate it worked ok since Jigsaw is immune and naturally of course Saurus was my pick.
To anyone that may ask, this of course is an intrem in between the main comic and the Second Chance comic though I guess that’d be obvious.
Thanks man, it came out great, and I like the little details of his name, crimes and whatnot on the side, nice little touch there.

It's strange that 'amateurs' have better ideas on how to imprison supervillains than the professional writers have. Although in mainstream comics the villains have to be able to break out from time to time or they would run out of villains.
Anyway, the Grrl Power webcomic even found a simple way to imprison a teleporter. Simply change the air pressure of the cell. If a inmate teleports out they die of an embolism,

You know, I noticed in the Second Chance comic Saurus stated his sentence was short, but half a year in stasis being “bombarded” with rehabilitation messages.
Definitely makes me wonder how long some of the others would be, assuming they got caught as well since Saurus’ crimes were minor (well, for that group) compared to the others.

YESSS!!! I definitely wanted to see how Hades prison's stasis cells worked! That is very close to what I actually imagined; the only difference is that I was expecting prisoners to be into a sort of sarcophagus like device instead of a tank ... and the programmed dreaming is definitely genius!
Kind of creepy but genius!
I have two questions if you don't mind:
- does the stasis process eliminate the need for the prisoner to receive nutrients? And if it doesn't, the how the prisoners receive nutrients? IV maybe?
- in the comic Quetzalcoatlus Jigsaw, imprisoned in Hades, mentioned that he had "nothing to do but read books from a non-existent library". Does this mean that the prisoner's "Dream state" is something like a "Black Mirror" thing? I mean, the prisoner have some sort of a virtual world or were he has some illusion of existing phisically? In other words, a Matrix kinda of thing?

I’ve been wanting to get this for a long time, ever since I saw Jigsaw in the Quetzalcoatlus comic.
Can’t speak for the 1st one and I’ll let Egg speak on that, as for the 2nd, I do want to get a follow up to show what Saurus sees while in the pod if possible, but naturally that’d be after the MANY other ideas I have due to him returning after such a long hiatus.
