Hi-Note: Gala
-After realizing that Margie had planned to wear a "nice sundress" to the event, Raf went out of his way to help her her pick out and buy the dress she is wearing here.
-Margie found Raf's cufflinks online some months ago and begged him to get them (because Kirby). He does not regret obliging her.
-They have only been there for half an hour and she is already drunk.
-Raf usually hates these kinds of events [just...large parties, in general]--but having Margie around gives him something nice to focus on, and her joyful abandon in novel situations is infectious ๐

Raf in a suit looks amazing, but it also feels so wrong after everything we've learnt about him.
I'm glad he helped her get a fancy dress tho, because Margie looks amazing in it.
And don't worry about it, Margie! I've re-educated myself on the proper "fancy" way to hold and drink from fancy glasses dozens of times over the years, and it just refuses to stick in my brain, haha.

haha he hates an event that forces him into a suit, but he's very familliar with that whole dog and pony show and could probably navigate it by muscle memory alone๐ฉ
But having Margie around as his emotional support bumkin certainly helps distract, and keeps him from wanting to tear his own skin off lmao
As far as he's concerned, her wildly clueless etiquette is a feature, not a bug. And her attitude in the way she learns about and navigates it all is delightful to behold.
