Amendelwyr had led the way through the clouds toward the foe. The threat to her people, her clan, her own family. Knowing that her hatchling was stolen away and kept in the fortress ahead did cause her to tremble and fear the worst, but more so to be filled with the righteous fury of a mother. The chaos spawn would fall before the light of her goddess!
The land itself was torn and had capitulated to evil's sinister influence, shriveling all of nature's beauty into soulless remnants. She fought the heart-wrenching feeling in her breast.
She gave the signal. Her flame rising toward the sky above, illuminated as she was by the piercing rays of the sun's light, contrasted with the sallow look of the mountains around her.
The time was now!
