That Lil guy is probably in total fear, as just being ant sized was bad enough, with people stomping around him as he dodges different footwear to not be stepped on (with varying levels of cleanliness as at that size worn out footwear is very lethal to his sense of smell).
But on top of that you've got rouge, about 15-20 ish stories tall, able to fit multiple people underfoot, not to mention a literal ant sized man. He better hope she's gracious and gives him enough time to find his ray before she steps down, leaving his fate to tons of tan foot flesh .
