I'd agree on the plate selection. But we've got to work with what we've got at the school, or bring our own. Since I'm paying for my tuition, I'm a bit short on the "pretty dinnerware" budget. As for the knife cuts; a scalloped carving knife. Makes it so the fish doesn't stick to the knife (as much) when slicing with it.
