Vega is a member of the Water Clan, where the members of the clan can make use of waterbending powers. Vega's ancestors were forced to flee from Nevrea to Gold Ring when Rain Silves attacked, and settled out in the suburbs of Gold Ring. Even so, they still retained many of their rural practices.
The Water Clan is the second largest of the nine elemental clans.

Vega is a female nevrean of average height with blue-grey plumage. She is Helios' mate and Poseidon's younger sister.
Vega is generally calm and collected, and it is difficult to anger her. However, when she's grumpy, she is very capable of being very direct and mean. She is good friends with another female nevrean, Axijaha.
