To add to him.. I should have mentioned he is Vivis best friend.
They met in college where Vivi was 13 and Holland 18. Then once they finished, Holland invited Vivi back to his place in a Vayou enclave. Vivi mostly interested in their aviation military division at the start then leaning more towards teaching at the local university with Holland.

He lives only on blood which he can get from various sources. He's not one for biting someone for it. Vivi being the only one he's actually did.

Story wise. It's pretty graphic where he worked with Vivi in some underground labs. It was a completely illegal operation ran by mostly cannibalistic Vayou (bat race). Vivi is a fairly well known person and when it gets out Him amd Holland might be trying to get away they destroy Holland. Cannibalizing him in front of Vivi.

This experience leaving Vivi traumatized. Sortof the reason he is how he is.

Holland actually has been a character with Vivi for sometime now just I never got around to designing him well enough.
So in short he's usually dead, but I have alts in which he's alive.
