Snip. Snip. Snip. Big tufts of cream-colored hair fell into a bucket. They were coarse, albeit strong and warm, and important for the upcoming cold nights of winter. Two gremlin-adjacent colonists were currently performing monthly grooming for the enormous megasloth, who seemed to enjoy the attention quite a bit.
"How's the cutting going?" The sergal yelled while holding up a pear and sinking into Mossfoot's soft belly, which rumbled idly.
"Struggling a bit to reach high place... But going good!" The werewolf tiptoed over a box as he handled the shears, cutting tuft after tuft. "Training going well over there?"
The megasloth picked the pear with unexpected dexterity, clasping the fruit between two claws and tossing it into his mouth. He munched happily, letting his smaller caretakers care for his overgrown fur. His stomach groaned, pushing gas up his body.
*Gworgle...* Uorp! [Trained Tameness 5/5 67%]
Bits and pieces of slobber and mashed pears fell onto the sergal, who brushed it off with a chuckle. One of his hands rubbed the enormous gut before replying at the werewolf.
"I think he's enjoying it! The thrumbo will probably be a bit of a doozy later, though..."
