MALAKAS Project - Oswald The Lucky Rabbit
If you wish to know about the MALAKAS Project, go to Timothy Soro's entry here for more info about the project.
Description:
It was unknown how the cartoonish-looking rabbit ended up in this world, but he matched similarities to some cartoon character reject that Walt Disney came up with. However, by the time this Oswald showed up at Mt. Tingganda Military Base, many recruits were quick to recognize him and assumed he was lost, but he was certain that he wished to join the MALAKAS Project, which of course excited the same recruits, but this also piqued interest of the project president Benjamin North, who had quite a nostalgia for early American cartoons, all despite being a Brit who had lived across the Atlantic until the present.
Unlike Benjamin however, his son and the project supervisor Christopher was rather unfamiliar with Oswald but was also concerned that possibly anyone of the rabbit's associates could find out what happened to him and could spread attention to even the US Government. Oswald, fed up with this setback, stopped the quarrel between the two Norths and explained why he wanted to join the project. He longed to be strong enough to save his love of his life, Ortensia, from the militarist beavers who had been holding her hostage in the town of Brisa Creeks. Chris was left so confused that he couldn't take the rabbit's word seriously, but Benjamin was quick and willing to help him up, despite admitting the same reaction as his son's.
Being somewhat an old icon so short and in his 20s, many recruits were more willing to assist Oswald in training, as his supposed trainer Diego Dagdag was too occupied, either assisting other recruits under his watch or flirting with the girls. But as the rabbit kept progressing, he began to open up his hidden knack for filming, being given an opportunity to make whatever kind of film he wanted, mostly either comedy or action themed. Furthermore, he founded film nights every month, meant to play the films he made as a form of entertainment for fellow recruits, but staff members (and even higher-ups) were also allowed to join in and watch.
Although delighted with having made enough films to make his own entertainment industry right at Mt. Tingganda, Oswald's happiness remained unfulfilled, remembering the current state of his catgirl still stuck in Brisa Creeks. And despite agreeing to join in on the project instructorship, the rabbit insisted to leave as a Super Soldier, so he could go out and save Ortensia. Few weeks later, Oswald had managed to bring her out of the beaver town, but the intensive road chase between Oswald on the fleeing scooter and the group of hostile militarist beavers on chopper motorbikes ended up in an explosive accident. While the said militarists managed to flee the scene despite their injuries inflicted, Oswald and Ortensia crashed into an open yet collapsible cave, and as a result, a cave-in occurred and brutally put them in their sleep. By sleep, the two fell into an unexpected coma, and they would remain there in a completely closed-in cave for a month, until newer recruits from Mt. Tingganda accidentally cracked open the said cave and found the two still in coma.
