Wait, the BDR in Halo 3 is an FN2000? For some reason I was under the impression all the weapons in that series were fictional (Though maybe based on actual weapons)

The reference I used for the pic was of an FN2000. Though now that you've mentioned Halo, I can see the resemblance xD

Noop, the assault rifle in the Halo series was loosely inspired by the FN2000, but that's it.

I will try to keep my facepalming to a minimal. I own an FS2000.(Semi auto civilian model) The F2000 was around LONG BEFORE halo. The amount of times I've gotten comments like "I didn't know they made the halo assault rifle in rl!" drives me crazy.

Heh, my roommate just got an airsoft FN2000, Wasn't a fan of the bullpup design before I held it. Still prefer an ACR or a M4, but whatev :) Still a nice gun.

I like how the ACR's look but were they ever reissued after the recall last year?
No experience with the M4 but I am fond of the AR-15 :)

Not quite sure. M4s are nice, though they have a habit of jamming and overheating occasionally. Still, both are solid rifles :)

You want solid? Ak-47 thats the toughest gun i've ever used that thing doesn't stop going. As they say sometimes the most ingenius idea is the simplest.
