Tavon looked up at the slithering beast crawling around the room. She raise her body to him, a growl creeping from her throat.
He crept closer and she let out a screaming roar, stopping him in his tracks, he breathed a shuddering breath and moved again. The monster confused lowered her head as he gently place his paws upon her muzzle and cheek.
"It's Alright Darlin'," he whispered, "I'm here.."

oh whoa....i thought i couldn't love this series of yours any more than i already did but this is so wonderful.
its as if someone friends or love was turned into a monster against their will....everyone fear and runs from or fights them when they approach but there is always that chance that someone will recognize them.
