I'm the one who had to listen to it for hours while sequencing it. I'm not throwing up yet either, But i'm sure someone out there will lose it over this. It uses an extreme form of moving the sound around.
If i could describe it, it would be as if your left and right speaker were on a teeter-totter that was mounted on the wall in front of you
And the speakers get closer to your ears and farther away faster and faster until their going faster then the sound itself.
Literally the effect it gives is that your sitting on a stool listening to music and spinning at about 90 miles per hour, faster and faster and faster till your spinning faster then the speakers are vibrating.
I've used this effect in most of my music to add chorus, but never to this extent. this was meant as an example of how extreme it can go. ^_^

Just a neat effect i made in Synthedit.
One day when i get the bugs worked out i'll probably release it as a "No limits" stereo chorus that gives you the ability to do crazy stuff like this. I just don't have the interface looking pretty enough yet. and some things need work.
It does add a bit of delay to the signal to get the trick to work, but i've used it during live sessions without noticing too much lag.
It actually increases in lag the more you amp up the effect to allow the modulation to be more extreme without reaching the "end"or "Beginning" of the delay which would wind up in a dry signal.
Honestly? I built it by accident. then figured out how it worked.

I really wish I could do more interesting things with my music like that. I'm severely limited by Garageband, unfortunately. As soon as I can get a laptop and a bit more money, I'm going with a more professional program.
Holy crap, I just got massive déja vu... Does anyone else but me get that just from typing?? X[

The samples were recorded from a microphone i got off an old boombox, which i got at a yard sale for about $4
All the samples were edited/cleaned/pitch corrected using Audacity
The sequencer was Jazz++
the MIDI loop back was LoopBe1
The main program i used to make the samplers that played this back was Synthedit
All these programs are free or have free versions.
All my tunes were saved to MP3 using Audacity and Lame (the MP3 encoder)
I've never had success with any kind of laptop, Mac or PC when it comes to recording.
or sequencing, They just act too unstable for me.
Some of my stuff was actually done on an old Pentium 1 machine.
I don't believe you have to blow a lot dough to get good sound. as long as your resourceful.

I happen to find the square purity of the oscillators inside a NES quite relaxing. no matter how repetitive the tune is.
Its the effect on this that sort of made me queasy... Remember though.. i had to listen to this much more then once while making and recording it. so maybe i just drove myself nuts.
