FFFF NO WAI!! SHOW ME SUM U8 (If you has XD) It's all about trying to make things look weird, yet right, at the same time...it also depends on what look you're going for and the angle of the "camera" (Though I'm sure you knew all that already haha, I'm just running through the list in my head xD) it's really hard. D: But I'm crazy in that I love odd challenges like that, and often practice them for the hell of it for random bursts xD I did the same with hands and clothing folds earlier in my "studies" LOL. What helps a lottt is observing real life shit, and when in doubt, just look in a mirror and try to figure it out that way 83 I still suck though...x,D

I don't remember if I do have! I think all of them go the same way; erased mid-drawing in a fit of DISGUST. XD And thanks muches for that piece of advice! 8D I guess I need to try to be a bit more observant with that stuff; I always do, like, one practice from a reference or something and then go "OKAY, GOOD, NOW DO IT PURELY FROM MY MIIIIIND FROM NOW ON". XD

AWW D: But I know how that is, I do that often with about 90 percent of my sketches x,D;; The other 9 percent stay WIPs, and only 1percent actually get finished/posted :'D And you're welcome 8D And LOL! I try to do that too, but when in doubt, find a ref or RL to help you C8 Like recently, I was having trouble with drawing something I've never actually drawn before, and I got half of it down from imagination, but needed a quick ref to make sure it looked decent x,D *had to fix things needless to say* Also, the good thing to do with foreshortening is try just to glance at your foreshortened drawing after not looking at it for half an hour or so, does it look right? If it does, odds are it's fine and will look right to others' :D Also, practicing and all that, but who likes to practice? Not meee x,D *worst at that*

Haha, I'm getting a bit like that; PILES of sketches, ONE gets finished eventually. XD Yah, refs and such can be useful for getting out of difficult spots like that; sometimes it's just working up the courage to say "okay, I need to look at a reference for this" instead of just going "NO. NO. I CAN DO DIS". XD Awesome when you can get a good amount of it down from your head, though! Always a nice feeling. 8D And that sounds like a good idea. Sometimes I get a bit nervous about doing that, 'cause I usually look back on my work later with a lower opinion of it. The artist's curse of being a heavy self-critic! XD

LMAO. xD I figure the ones that get finished are the best ones/worth finishing 83 And oh ya, I know how that is a lot xDD I still refuse to look at them unless absolutly necessary, and I never, like, copy a pose or anything *shudder* I'd die at the thought haha xD An old friend of mine used to tell me I should trace/copy others' work as practice, and I was like: OMG NEVER *DIES* XD And ya, I tend to work mainly from my head, because I'm really lazy when it comes to finding refs haha xD And aww D: Same though. But you must let yourself finish it! Even if you consider it bad. Because the more you finish drawings, the more you improve 83 I keep telling myself that, and end up finishing sketches I thought I never would (cause I hateed them so much xD) Um...*think* coming to recent memory, my Fall and Dissapointment pics were those I thought were crap and ended up forcing myself to finish x,3 Also, you never know if when you do finish it, it'll come out better than you thought it would 8D

That's a pretty good way to look at it; I always just use it as an excuse to complain at myself. XD Hehe, I think I'd say the same thing. It seems so wrong to do that, even if it's just for practice! XD And I'm the same; looking for refs just takes too long and something the inspiration to draw or the time to draw is gone by the time you get good ones. D: And true enough, you can never tell which ones might turn out better than expected. Sometimes it turns out worthwhile if you give yourself the extra push to finish something. Definitely need to do that more often, me. X3
And I bet it'll still be pretty awesome regardless of whether it's not how you wanted it or not. C: Know the feeling, though; it's like "ARGH, WHY WON'T YOU BE AS I WANT YOU TO BE!"

NU. NU COMPLAIN U8 You upload more than I do!! xD Man, I sometimes go a FULL YEAR without uploading/posting ANYTHING :'D;;; And inoryte? Lol I will admit, when I first started out, I tried SO HARD to copy this one girl's style whom I adored x,D;; I tried and tried and tried, but I just couldn't do it X,D;; So I gave up and stuck with my own fail style...my style's so ugly haha. People always tell me it looks "anime and something else...but I dunno what that something else is D:" xDDD And ya srsly U: Do this: Sketch the idea first, just to make sure you get it down. Then, when refining, look for refs C: I dunno how you work, but personally I make sloppy as shit sketches. Like, rly rly ugly ones...and then I change shit SO MUCH in the refining process, it's not even funny haha. I should send you an event file or two one day, just to let you see how sketch A ends up into drawing Z and looks nothing like its origins HAHAHA xDD And how utterly HORRIBLE my sketches are xD And yup C: I think your art's awesome! >W< And this is my not so subtle attempt to get you to post moar, haha >8D
