Inspired by the anatomy of the Metkayina people from Avatar: Way of the Water. This golduck specializes in thriving in a deep dark ocean territory. With minimum light as a resource, the bright blue spots can help other Golduck identify each other. When calling out to one another under water, they will emit a beam of light from the gemstone on their foreheads, flashing the darkness until another pokemon responds back. We assume this is why the ocean Golduck's gemstone is much larger compared to their freshwater counterpart.
