Introducing a new OC who literally came to me in a dream. I dreamt I was watching a Sonic cartoon like Boom or Prime, and they met a fox who resembled Tails' father. There were two things unusual about him, though. Firstly, he looked pretty young for a father. Secondly, he had absurdly wide hips for a character in a kids' cartoon, let alone a guy.

I wanted to remember him after I woke up, so I whipped up a backstory and got  illis to draw him up for me. So, meet Quasar. An astrophysicist lost for several years in a dimension where time passes 20 times slower, Quasar has only recently entered his son's life. Genetically, he's Tails' father. Biologically, he's barely a year older. Socially, he and Tails feel more like friends than family.

This is what Quasar looks like as a character who could plausibly exist in the actual Sonic universe. A purely wholesome design for a purely wholesome existence. Of course, you know damn well that isn't what I have planned for him...
