Achaius is one of the new crew members of the Pioneer, who has never been in space before. Together with Tys, Tria and Endymion, he gets to know some of his colourful crew mates on Bifröst Station, before they're heading to the ship.

This episode is written a bit differently than the others, as most of it was written in a private roleplay session. The text has been edited for better reading, such as swapping lines, add text for clarity and context and general formatting into prose. The story tends to meander a bit, but it's nice for a slice of life story, and it was great fun doing it!
This story also introduces a few status quo changes that will affect the rest of the series from now on.

Haven't finished reading, but I have alot of questions. First, I finally know that some real life properties are a thing. But now, what about real events (Sputnik, the moon landings, heck, even things we are currently doing, or planned to, usch as the future moon landings later this decade, or the planned landings on Mars by the near middle of the century). Maybe that's too far ahead, but what about older things, media that is. Space media (starship troopers and other media). This is alot, yes, but I have questions regarding real history and this story. Sorry for the bit, but the thoughts been nagging my brain for a couple of days now.
Well, what Sabrina-Taur, the originator of this story universe, agreed upon is that most stuff before the 21st century played out the way it did in our timeline or at least converged back to our timeline. This is mainly for legacy reasons (the Pioneer is an offshoot of a story universe that's more than a decade old) and also practical reasons, as mapping out an entire revised history of Earth would be way too much work.
Basically: best not think about it too deeply and enjoy the show.
