When the order came in to deal with Abzu in the sewers, a squad of Shinra Security Forces was mobilized to deal with it and other creatures infesting the area around it.

Reports came back saying one soldier broke off from the rest as they dealt with the other monsters in the sewers. He was found later returning to the group reporting that he defeated the monster on his own.

Further details were not given by him but reports say when they went to check the monsters den, there signs of a fight but no signs of the monster so his story checked out.

It was later the soldier had put in a request for a new belt and combat harness after a buckle of his broke loose but was written off as possible fatigue or damage from the previous battle between him and the monster.

Also in other news, more researchers who were considered followers of Prof. Hojo have turned up missing. On going investigation for both him and the many guards and researchers under him is still being carried out.
