Sherlock is an old mongrel, the leader of a pack of almost thirty dogs.
It was hard. I had several really poor quality photos at my disposal (foreshortening, lighting, clarity - a complete failure).
My advice to anyone who has ever wanted to have a commission with pet is to try to take photos of maximum quality, if you have the opportunity. The work of creating a portrait from "scraps" is very painstaking and has no guarantee of the best result.
