The last couple of months have been pretty tough for me with so much going on. I felt suffocated and needed a change, so I decided to quit my previous job at the end of the year. I managed to find a new one in mid-January, thankfully! The change of environment was a bit stressful but I've settled in and now I'm enjoying myself working with my lovely and super talented team :)
I have a couple of bigger projects lined up for this year that will take quite some time to finish so I most likely won't be able to post too frequently just yet.
I'm working on some print designs behind the scenes - keychains and stickers are finally done! I plan to take some nice photos of them and will share them with you soon, they turned out super cool 😎 These designs are a bit different than the stuff I usually draw and I kinda feel like they don't fit into my gallery?? I posted a few designs a while ago, but they didn't mesh well with the rest of my art, so I decided that I'll be posting them as final products only. I also have some ideas for reworking my social medias, mostly impacting my Instagram, but I'll figure it out once the merch designs are fully done.
I'm also working on a couple of cosplays in the meantime, and they are mostly done! I found joy in styling wigs again, yay! (I used an airbrush for the very first time a few days ago for the final touches on Jolyne's wig, and I'M IN LOVE OH MY GOD, I would love to airbrush EVERYTHING.) This year, I plan to finish three cosplays: Ada Wong, Jolyne Kujo, and Hail Mary from Hunt: Showdown. The last one is the most important to me—I'm super hyped for this costume, you don't even know how much haha. The costume itself is done, but I want to make a specific weapon from the game (bomb lance) for a convention, and there's not much time left until then haha.
It's kinda hard to juggle all these things while having a full-time job, but working on every project I've mentioned brings me a lot of joy. I can't wait to share them when they're all done!
