How would the pokeball help? Unless it helps rest and can be exited out of at will, I don't see what that would do for them.
Course, that would likely feel VERY dehumanizing, to go into a pokeball. Nothing says your not human anymore like being "captured" like the pokemon you are.

Unsure about that, but in a previous comic she found out that pokemon essentially can choose if they get caught or not. So aside from a Masterball theoretically she is safe anyway. Also, if a pokeball prevents capture in other balls, why do trainers always deflect it when you throw one at their pokemon? Granted what is and is not canon to this comic story may be different.
