Nice. I still remember the C 6 7 motors. I loved the long delay for the ejection charge. Early opening meant losing the rocket in a thermal at the field I flew from in the Dallas Area. i'd even cut the center out of the chute to reduce the chance of it drifting away. I was having the chutes deploy about 100 foot up. Fun watching the rocket coming down like a V2 on London.... Even more fun flying a model of a V2 that way... I was a bad kid in the 70s and 80s. Launch controllers.. hated the wimpy Estes one I had. Rewrired it to run on 2 or 3 6v lantern batteries. Eventually built my own controllers. had to throw 3 switches to launch on one of them. 18 volts of juice - I could use one of the leads for a spent ignighter as an ingnighter. put a bend in it, push into the nozzle and keep in place with a wad of tissue. wire would turn red hot in an instant. I'd get 3 launchs per igniter that way.
