So I'm learning how to use blending brushes...I got a little blend happy but oh my god what did I ever do without them?

Basically what it does is it takes your painterly/choppy lines and kind of blends them together so they're not so choppy and there's a more natural transition. Before I used the blending brush you could see the hard edges of where I was color picking from my own colors and trying to do it myself. You can still see what it looked like "before" on the ankles, whereas "after" is on the belly and butt. I can't remember if the one I'm linking you needs to work better with the "smudge" tool, but test it out at different opacities :)

Awesome, thanks for that! I usually use brushes that fade out at the edges so that's probably why I haven't had a huge amount of issues with blending, but I'll take a look at the one that you posted a link for. The picture looks great by the way! It's obvious you're having a lot of fun with it. ^_^
