Remade an old OC as a bug! Their stomach is permanently filled with soda, even the smallest of movements disturbs it and causes small amounts of swelling, rest assured though, Shift wished this condition upon themself and takes great joy in it, even if it's super embarrassing.

As you might imagine, more vigorous movement will cause much more rapid and uncontrollable swelling that will take a while to settle even after the disturbance has stopped. Any kind of exercise, bumping into things, falling over, or any kind of bumpy ride is a quick trip to being tight as a drum. Shift isn't a very agile or athletic individual as you might imagine, and public transport is a nightmare of being bumped into, falling over, and the rough road being VERY unkind to her stomach.

Shift's stomach only settles down and shrinks back to it's normal size at the end of the day when they sleep, so going anywhere in a hurry will leave Shift swollen for the rest of the day, and the added size just makes preventing further growth even more difficult as more collisions, stumbling, and falls happen.
