I find the Julius Zebra series by Gary Northfield incredibly amusing. For one thing, I like zebras and I like stories set in ancient times. And even as a fan of Asterix, the Julius Zebra novels really entertained me. I'm looking forward to the fact that there will actually be a fifth volume, which will take Julius Zebra and his friends to (ancient) China. I'll just wait and see whether the fifth volume actually comes out.
I would be happy about a (appropriate) film adaptation, be it a live-action film with computer animation, as a cartoon or even as a computer-animated feature film.
