A macro of a fly face, I got a couple of his full body too and an ant and the ant's compound eye, but those may go up later, but only in scraps cuse they kinda suck.

its interesting though to see the eyes, I think compound eyes are more like having a lenses all over focused on one point, I don't think they see like they say they do, millions of images, but rather the entire surface of the eye being covered in thousands of lenses I think, would be more like having the ability to look in all directions at once without need to move your eye.
So I think its like one image, but overly high quality and they can detect movement in any area within a wide range of the eyes, rather then an inefficient eye that has to move the entire ball on an orbital socket just to see what's going on in one area.
