You invited THE FENTONS?!
For almost twenty years Vlad resisted, trying to maintain a no-contact policy with the friends who abandoned him, thanks also to Skulker's help. But Skulker was away (only for a few hours!), and when he returned he found Vlad like this: drunk, and that he had thrown a party to which he had, impulsively, invited the Fenton family. And that's how Bitter Reunions happened. The end.
