Name: Natasha Alexov Moroz
Age: 20
Height: 6'
Species: Bear
DESCRIPTION:
Mikhail and Natasha once had a harsh life back in a persistently snowy Russian village, somewhere a bit close to Vladivostok, especially following the nationwide transition into a federation in a rather bleak manner. They used to rely on their parents, who worked so hard to make an adequate living for them, but by the time the said parents passed away, Mikhail (the older brother) pushed himself to work to make a similar living both for himself and his young sister Natasha. He even took in local boxing matches every month, as they made the biggest portion for the family income.
One day around 2014 however, Mikhail had over-exerted to the point of being overwhelmed with colds, muscle spasms and fatigue. This put him out of commission for few months, and forced his sister to step of her comfort zone and take his place, much to his worry and fear. Natasha took her time to learn how to hunt for food, but more particularly, she became more fond of literal bear traps than her father's hunting rifle. Mikhail's absence also took a toll on underground boxing economy, as it drove the leader of Vladivostok-based mafia into confronting the Moroz personally. Mikhail was too weak to face the mafia on such conditions, but Natasha was recklessly brave enough to protect and save him at all costs. Once all of his backing men had perished from gunshots and bear traps, the mafioso fearfully relented and drove back to the coastal city. Even though this obviously put him and Natasha in a bigger danger zone from other criminal gangs across Eastern Russia, Mikhail couldn't help himself but hug his sister out of sheer gratitude.
One week later, when the siblings received a mail from the half-French twin bears, who claimed to be their cousins and wished to bring them into a sunnier and more comfortable place, where they could make open friends and seek working opportunities. Specifically, they meant the city of Santo Tomas, the very place they had been living there, right in California. Mikhail felt hesitant about this mail, mainly because while he had good memory on how big his extended family really was, he had yet to actually meet them by himself, and Natasha on the other hand was ecstatic to meet their cousins for the same reason.
And those twin cousins weren't kidding, the moment the Moroz siblings arrived in Santo Tomas, they found it to be a better place to live than their hometown back in Siberia. However, it didn't end the day without one incident, where the Moroz siblings on their city tour got confronted by Georgian thugs, over something the latter were bitterly reeling over what happened to homeland back in 2008, only for the Armenian mafia to swoop in and drive the said thugs away. Even the Armenian mafia was aware of the Moroz's actions behind the failure of the underground boxing racket back in Vladivostok, but nonetheless more lenient and more benevolent, understanding both the suddenly ill state of Mikhail and financial urgency of the Vladivostok Mafia. Mikhail and Natasha were free to find any day job they wanted, but Mikhail was expected to participate in monthly underground fights (set up by their Serbian counterpart) and Natasha was required to undergo boxing training every weekend night, should Mikhail be unable to attend the boxing.
However, having lived till her late teen years without receiving further education, Natasha decided to start studying in high school, while Mikhail prioritized working out and training there, in hopes of keeping safe, much to his sister's annoyance and suspicion from one particular college student named Simon Nightwolffe.
PERSONALITY:
Natasha proves herself to be a more resilient yet more reckless Russian than her older brother, though she lags behind him in terms of strength and lacks ferocity. However, her cleverness and quick adaptability allow her to use any environment around her to her advantage, though forests and taigas are much easier areas to her play. She is also a more experienced hunter than Mikhail, as she makes a lot of creative use with bear traps, often strapped with chains, which she can also use in any fight she gets in, but another main weapon of hers is her late father's hunting rifle, a more effective type yet with low rate of fire and slow reload.
Social wise, she is as outgoing and showboating as Diego Dagdag, but more as a thrill-seeking hipster who sees no problem dealing with enemies in her way. Despite being tomboyish, she prefers handing out with girls, even if they're past the very trends she's stuck in. She also enjoys being independent, even back in Russia, so it's no surprise when Mikhail sometimes accompanies her and somehow becomes overprotective, something she doesn't take well, even though she is often understanding of what he's been through for her and himself.
Natasha is quite nostalgic of Western trends from 80s and 90s, as well as Soviet cartoons, which lead her to become quite adept in impersonating a sassy American girl, often wearing orange cap sideways, displaying her open navel, chewing down a bubblegum and posturing an independent behavior. Occasionally, she tends to hum or sing away any Soviet children's song, which can confuse even fellow Westernized Russians. With that said, she is more open and tolerable to foreign cultures.
LIKES:
- Hunting Games: She used to hunt the game for food, even in the harshest winter; Now she relishes in it for sport
- Bubblegum: She's so into American lifestyle, that she starts enjoying chewing some bubblegum
- Hunting Trophies: She's at best proud of her work, especially through animal busts and remains in a study/trophy room to display
- Soviet Cartoons: She is more nostalgic than her brother, due to spending most of her childhood watching Russian-made cartoons, even past the serious events in 1997
ABILITIES:
- Marksmanship: It's best required in hunting, and she prospers in it
- Traps: She got creative with sorts of traps for hunting, most particularly the bear traps, often strapped to chains to her benefit
- Cold Immunity: Self-explanatory, but neither she nor Mikhail could dwell well in the opposite temperature.
- Russian Martial Arts (Systema): Mikhail taught her that, just in case when he wasn't able to reach her at her most serious need
SPECIAL:
- More adaptable to American Culture than her brother
- Has Half-French twin cousins
