Luna Gayer-Anderson is the half Irish daughter of a researcher, who kept on of his finds, a seemingly normal necklace based on the goddess Bastet, as a lucky charm for years. But one day, after getting mugged, her life changed forever. It turns out the necklace was a sort of summoning conduit for Bastet herself. Not only did it save her life, but it transformed her into a living vessel for the goddess, making her stronger, faster, and incredibly flexible. Now, she goes to keep her body maintained, after all, as an avatar of Bastet, she needs to keep herself in a godly manner. It was here that she met with Jackson "Jackie" Nubius, aka, the Jackal. As if drawn to each other by the gods inhabiting their bodies, they entered into a relationship. Now they reign as King and Queen of Might.
