After a turbulent year for the ESC the contest this year concluded with Nemo raising the trophy for Switzerland. The first non-binary person ever to win Eurovision, and the second to compete. Beaten only by Irelands Bambie Thug who placed 6th.

This is Switzerland's third win following Lys Aassis winning the first ever contest in 1956, and Celine Dion winning in 1988.
