Her legs were quite well trapped, feeling nothing solid underpaw. She braced her hands on the surface and pushed with all her might, eyes closed, struggling against the desert's hunger.
"Nnghh... ghhhh..."
Stomach deep, still sinking down... down... losing inch after inch to the quicksand. The sand seemed to respond with an oozing black substance, sticky, thick... She opened her eyes, gasping, as her hands were not only being swallowed by the desert sand, but also being coated and consumed by... tar!?
