One of the rat rescue pics, for  NDRS

It...er...was supposed to be a very simple background >.>

I had some fun experimenting with colored lighting. i figured there's a dance behind the viewer, and two of the colored spotlights are influencing the scene from either side, along with the bluish florescent above. For a first try i think I did a great job but wish that I had pushed the values further--I wasn't expecting the bristol to buckle so quickly with small applications of watercolor, so wasn't able to do as I had planned =/

It's the first time i've really tried watercolor on bristol. i LOVE the way bristol behaves with ink and colored pencil but wasn't thrilled with how the watercolor reacted. perhaps I have the wrong kind of bristol?
