Just as Asami enjoys the spooky atmosphere and occasional frights of Innistrad, there's also something about the glitz and glamour of New Capenna, with so much presentation and pizzazz on the surface concealing the endemic rot of crime that is almost mythologized by some of the residents as something honorable. She regularly finds herself at a Caberetti party, and has even partaken in Halo...before she found out that it is basically composed of the essence of angels, at which point she swore off of the stuff. Now she just uses candy cigarettes to look like she is enjoying herself when she visits. As long as she keeps her head down, she can avoid any drama or issues with anyone else, and not have to get involved in any of the crime families and their constant feuds.
