Character Profile
Names: Hemlockkit (kit) - Hemlockpaw (apprentice) - Hemlock-? (name not yet revealed)
Nicknames: Hemlock, Lock, or Locky (this one is used almost exclusively by his sister, Yewpaw)
Sex: Male
Age: Varies throughout the story, but here he's meant to be around 14 moons (about 16 or 17 in human years).
Height: As an adult he's slightly taller than an average tom, though he slouches so much that even he isn't fully aware of this.
Build: Somewhere between a Somali and an Oriental longhair, with a tall, lean, and long-legged physique.
Distinct Features: Shaggy pelt, long fur on the top of the head which sticks straight up, large tufted ears which splay out slightly, pointed cheek fur, large rounded eyes with thicker lines underneath, long whiskers which have a slight droop, and large paws.
Clan: Windclan
Mother: Hollyfur
Father: Shrikestar
Sibling: Yewpaw
Residence: Windclan lake territory
Personality: Hemlockpaw is an intelligent, level-headed cat with good judgement and an abundance of patience. However, he is also shy, anxious, unconfident, and reluctant to speak his mind or draw attention to himself. He has a tendency to care too much about what other people think, is easily hurt by criticism, and can be too dependent on others for validation. He can be overly submissive and reluctant to take up for himself, even when he knows he's being wronged. Hemlockpaw was born a gentle soul, with a desire to help others whenever he can. He's not prone to anger, spitefulness, or holding grudges, and is more likely to just go along with things than to protest. He's a good planner and able to find quick, creative solutions to problems, but rarely has the self-confidence needed to present his ideas to other people. He wants so much to have the approval of others, but spends most of his time on the sidelines, so afraid to fail that he prefers to not be noticed at all.
