For Confuzzled charity artshow, though I doubt this will net in much for the otter foundation. Wanted to send 4 pieces but I have been hitting crunch time at work, very little free moments to do sidearts anymore.
No time to make prints either, so the original is flying to the con.
The theme is Roaring 20's, rather than do the cliche mobsters and booze and Bonny/Clyde, I looked into a bit more obscurity and found inspiration in a fancay gal who made tits-up-and-out classy.
Inspired by Josephine Baker, her famous banana belt and her pet Chiquita.
If this sells for more than 200 quid, I'll dance the irish jig and my next upload will be smut.
Think of it as celebrating a miracle, even if I have a back-forth love-hate relationship with this fandom.
Though I'd be perfectly happy with just 50 quid, it'll cover my express shipping and some pocket change.

Seems like a lot people remember her cameo in Belleville but she has made appearances waaay before that. There was a Jo Baker reference in Don Bluth's 1997 Anastasia, during 'Paris holds the key' musical scene.
She was dressed in a purple bodysuit (for family rating) but it's a pretty obvious reference with the banana belt, hairstyle and cheetah with diamond collar.

Somehow I missed the ref in Anastasia, but I definitely recognize who you're talking about. I think I saw her in a documentary on film history or something.
In any event, great picture! I really like the composition and your take on the person. I'm especially impressed with the way you used patterning and outlining to keep both figures and the background separate and avoid the pic looking too busy.
