Passing under the old Chicago, Rock Island & Pacific signals at Blue Island, Illinois, Metra MP36PH-3S #409 pushes an inbound Rock Island District commuter train toward Chicago's La Salle Street Station, on an overcast late-winter evening.

Ah, Blue Island, one of my more favorite places. I wonder what your shutter speed was set to, or perhaps they were just going that fast...probably slower speed, due to the low light. I'm also wondering what that smudge is beneath the cab.
