Relating those two as identical is a false statement.
SZPD, according to a page describing it in the National Library of Medicine, is characterized by a detachment from interpersonal relationships and difficulties with expressing oneself emotionally.
Aegosexual is characterized by a presence of sexual attraction or interest mentally paired with a lack of want for actual physical involvement.
By definition alone, they are crucially different things. One can be Aegosexual but have little to no trouble with social situations or emotional expression. And one with SZPD could have genuine interest in sexual activity despite any difficulties they have with social intimacy. Someone with SZPD could also have no sexual interest at all, excluding even non-physical forms.
Both have distinctive traits, and I have no doubt some show traits of both. But, considering them identical excludes those which only fit in one category.

Not another one. We have enough already. I find it confusing and annoying that someone bothers classifying people on such trivial matter instead solving real world problems. That being said, I do not wish to attack your sexuality nor your announcement. It just surprises me in negative way.
It's less about classifying people and more about finding other people that have had similar experiences. It's validating to know that other people have had similar experiences. I've grown up in deep country Texas and have always felt very alien to the people around me, so finding stuff like this is very therapeutic.
Totally understandable to feel like there's too much to keep up with, but, in this case, you don't really have to keep up with it. This is something for me, to make me feel validated and find people who have been through similar experiences to learn how they went about it differently.
Similarly to stuff like Misophonia. I wouldn't expect everyone without Misophonia to know what it is or what it entails for mental health. But knowing it exists helps me find coping mechanisms from others that live with it, and it helps me to know that I'm not alone with a sensation.
Totally fair to feel like there's a lot to keep up with.
