Full-Moon Madness | Kickin & Hoppy - Werewolf TF
The stars and full moon shone brightly over Kickin Chicken and Hoppy Hopscotch as the two of them ran in the chilly Autumn air, playing a rousing game of nighttime tag. Kickin Chicken had been getting his ass utterly kicked tonight, not that he did that well against Hoppy anyway, but tonight, he was getting especially destroyed…
Now that Kickin thought about it, for the past few days, Hoppy had been kinda weird. She’d somehow had MORE energy than she usually had, had been eating a lot of meat, and had even been growling like a dog. Though, Kickin didn’t bring this to anyone’s attention, as he didn’t know how to word it without sounding like a crazy person.
But oh well, Kickin didn’t have time to worry about that, as he was currently trying and failing to outrun Hoppy after tagging her. Of course, he would inevitably be caught and tagged by her, and both critters stopped to catch their breath.
“Ha…Ahaha…oh, good game, Hops.” Kickin breathlessly said.
Hoppy panted severely a few times before she responded. “You too…! Woo..”
“Well…ready to head back? Gettin’ pretty late.” Kickin heaved.
Hoppy didn’t answer at first, she merely looked up at the full moon with an uneasy expression on her face.
Kickin was immediately worried, and remembered a conversation they’d had a day or two prior…Kickin remembered Hoppy mentioning that she’d been bitten by ‘this really weird dog last month’, and went to Bubba to get it patched up. Then, the next morning, the wound was mysteriously gone…Kickin swore this kind of situation was familiar to him.
He slowly, nervously approached the rabbit. “H-Hoppy…?” He whimpered.
Hoppy seemed to snap out of her trance, holding the sides of her head and shaking it around rapidly. “Oh- Uh- Sorry ‘bout that, Kickin. Don’t know what happened there.” She said, adding a bit of an awkward chuckle at the end.
“Uh…alright! Let’s uh…go home.” Kickin stammered out.
Hoppy silently nodded, and the two of them began to walk back to the neighborhood they each lived at.
But then something odd happened.
All of a sudden, Hoppy let out a cry of pain and doubled over, falling to her hands and knees. She began to groan and growl as her body lightly spasmed.
Kickin clucked in fear and tried to help Hoppy to her paws. “C-Come on Hoppy, I-I gotcha! We’re gonna get you to Bubba’s-!” He cried out, hoping to calm her down a bit. Unfortunately for him, it didn’t work at all.
Hoppy savagely shoved Kickin away, and he fell to the ground on his stomach. He slowly flipped himself over onto his back where he saw Hoppy on her knees, clutching her head in pain.
She slowly opened one of her eyes, which had been squeezed shut from the pain, and muttered one, strained word;
“Run…!”
Kickin’s eyes widened as he got back to his talons and began to back away in fear, but he just couldn’t take his eyes off of Hoppy, who’s very body was beginning to change.
It started with her fur. It began to take on a significantly darker color, and grow out rapidly, giving her a much rougher and scruffier look.
After that, the changed went to her ears, as they lost their length and edged out into an angular shape, then her clenched teeth grew exponentially sharper, followed by her muzzle extending into a full-on snout.
Hoppy snarled as she removed her hands from her head. As she did so, they began to grow larger, and soft, yet rough paw-pads formed on her palms and fingertips, and as that was going on, her thumbs grew shorter and shorter, until they were nothing but useless dewclaws, and as if that wasn’t enough, her remaining fingers grew razor-sharp claws from the tips.
Letting out another feral growl, Hoppy fell to all fours, and her back legs began to grow larger, as well as her back paws, which grew giant claws similar to her forepaws. After that, her small, cottony tail grew long and bushy, and her body grew larger once again, snapping off her lightning bolt pendant.
The fully-transformed werewolf lifted its neck up and let out a chilling howl to the moon. It then turned its attention to Kickin Chicken, who’d been frozen with fear. At this point, Kickin began to scream and terror and finally run away.
“BUBBBAAAAA! SOMEONE! ANYONE! HEEEEELP!” Kickin cried out as he ran away. He pathetically flapped his wings as he did so, being unable to take flight for a decent amount of time.
There seemed to be some hope however, as after what felt like an eternity of running, Kickin finally saw the beginning of Critter Valley…but before he could run to safety. Kickin felt razor-sharp teeth pierce his shoulder, and before he had the chance to scream in terror, the werewolf threw him several feet away from safety.
Kickin cried out in fear and pain as he heaved himself back to his talons. He clutched his wound on instinct and stared at the werewolf, who stared down Kickin threatingly. His legs were quaking, threatening to give out at any moment.
“H-Hoppy please…i-i-it’s me, Kickin!” Kickin sobbed, and as he did so, he began to…whine like a dog?
Kickin covered his beak in horror as he realized what he did…and what he realized was going to happen.
“…Oh…Oh no…!” Kickin squeaked as his body was overcome with pain.
He fell down to all fours with a cry of pain, and his feather-fingers began to fall out, being replaced by dark yellow fur. His hands then began to reshape into ferocious forepaws. He screamed once again as his chicken legs swelled out and lost their scaly/furless nature, and his talons compacted into another set of paws. The rest of his feathers were pushed out, and the feather crown at the top of his head fell out in favor of two angular ears sprouting at the sides of his head. His tail feathers were then shoved out by a long and rough wolf tail.
Lastly, Kickin’s beak cracked and broke apart as a long, toothy wolf snout grew its way through it.
Kickin began to growl hungrily as his mind began to simplify. His thoughts and memories began to dull and fade away until he could only focus on a few things…the urge to hunt and run…
Kickin looked up at Hoppy now that his transformation was done. Hoppy had walked over to him and began sniffing his head curiously. Kickin growled lightly and nipped at Hoppy, wordlessly chastising her for turning him into what he was now. In response, Hoppy backed away and bowed the front of her body while whining. A dog-like apology.
Kickin huffed and then walked over to Hoppy. Hoppy tilted her head, wondering what he was doing…and then Kickin nipped Hoppy on the neck and ran away, initiating a game of tag.
Hoppy barked several times in playful annoyance and began to give chase.
Man these two were going to be in a weird-ass situation when they went back to normal in the morning.
