Image 4 of the original 3.
Decided to make a few small changes.
1.) Lengthened the shroud a bit.
2.) Added a trio of laser sights beneath the barrel. I blame AvP for the inspiration.
I've started noticing lately that around the trigger area i've been getting some problems. some of the lines auto soften on the handle and require me to go back and manually redraw the lines, i've done it about 20 times or more by now. The trigger itself is trying to fall apart or something, it does the same as the handle cept when i redraw lines it adds in fragments of a solid piece rather than a whole piece.
I fear I may have to break down the handle and trigger and remodel it, oh well, been using it for almost a year or so, about time it starts showing some problems.
Again, fires 50 BMG, 10 round magazine, anti armor rifle, and based off of a very old 2D image I drew way back when.
Modeled in Google Sketchup 7.
Enjoy~

I've been wrestling with a request, trying to smooth out an issue on the pistol grip I use, and when fed up with the request and grip tweaking i've been working on an airship.
I may keep with 7 for a bit, I like being familiar with a program rather than having to relearn it if its tossed some new tools and functions in.

Make some seams where the weapon would break down for transport and cleaning.
I get a very AA-12 feel from the one-piece body design, which is cool, but at the same time a tad visually uninteresting.
If it fires .50 BMG, then I'd suggest making that muzzle brake a LOT larger as well. I'm assuming you used the Lahti 20mm brake as a base?
I might make the bi-pod a bit beefier as well as perhaps collapsible, considering that it looks a bit long. :P
This looks very cool, and I'd like to see you tinker with the design more! :D

Yes, as the original Design for the Garganta back when it was a 2D image was inspired by the Lahti 20mm. As for the one piece body I've never really tried making it look like it can be broken down, I guess I shyed away from that detail effect due to the sheer amount of work I'd have to put in. I've always been prone to making something as simple as possible and with as little complicated parts as possible since all 3 machines I use can't take the strain of large or over complicated models. Hoping to eventually buy a beefier system that can take models that are over +5Mbs.
I can always beef up the bipod and break.
This model, being how its my current favorite, will see a fair bit of continued tinkering. I am glad you've enjoyed the model.
