Ivemylla and Markiev are basically the lovers who can't be together. They are from different castes, and as children they were not the best friends at all, as an argument they had in public led to drastic changes in their family/mentor treatments. Two broken children who get to meet again a decade later, forced to cooperate and quickly realize they are not the image they had in mind of eachother. You have time to think when you are alone on earth for some days.
