Another foggy night, another double take as you see that ring floating above her head again. It'd been a month or two, but you couldn't help but stare in confusion.
"Dude, what the fuck? Every time you come over I catch you staring at me, are you really that down bad?" You try to stutter out a comment about the halo, but it's gone again. She stares at you and raises an eyebrow, not saying anything and waiting for you to get your shit together. Why would someone like her have a halo?
