About four years ago, a new show was released on Netflix called Blood of Zeus. It became a quick top favorite of mine that I watched several times, admiring both story and animation, especially considering my adoration of the Greek Mythos (in case that wasn't obvious LMAO).

During a re-watch with a close friend of mine at the time, I designed myself this character–Io. She was loosely based off of the greek story and myth of Io, along with some inspiration from Greek motifs and vases, put into the model of the CS I was making her in.

So with the release of Blood of Zeus Season 2 yesterday, I figured what better way to enjoy it than draw the character that it helped inspire me to create? (Which, if you haven't watched it yet, go do it!! It's SO good.)


Anyways, I hope you like seeing a glimpse into one of my personal characters! Personal art is something I rarely do for myself, so I'm always excited to share it when I can do a full piece. <3
