My first "cowboy gun" single-action revolver in .45 Colt. Accurate, powerful, new. Hogue grips added as the originals bit me on recoil. Issues with handloads as they would not seat entirely within the cylinder causing jams as there is a ledge milled into each chamber. Not a problem in the Rossi M92. Bought some .45 Schofield casings to experiment with as those will chamber and use the same components when cobbling loads together. Needed a .303 Brit shell holder with .45 ACP dies and data from an online source to make it work.

Nice, I have the .45 Convertible version. .45 Colt and .45 ACP cylinders. Handles the .45 Schofield well too. Was a security contractor for Ruger for 5 years plus - got in on their employee discount program. Love their all steel single actions. Not a fan of the Wrangler - both of the ones I picked up tended to keyhole damn near every round. Love the Single Sx .22 - have an Old Model - dual cyninders. Also have a stainless steel flat top .357/9mm dual cylinder Blackhawk .
