Sorry, but I caught a clip from Star Trek Discovery (Season 3 Ep 10) and just had a fanboy moment. If you're going to have a ship journey into the future, then why not re-introduce the Guardian of Forever. It was a heck of a scene where the Guardian detonated a wooden door back into it's stone archway self. Interposed with the infamous line. Now I gotta dig out my bowler....
