I'm not sure, but from the way Miralle speaks, she doesn't seem to know the real reason about why the Flame of Life was extinguished, more so from the words she said, which are: " it's said" and "it must be". If I had to guess, I would say that the Flame of Life's ability to remove or purge Chaos alters the balance of the universe in some way, which would make it linked to Luna's secret; that's my guess.
