Soul.
Soul.
So I know this isn't the end of the story, but as this is the last page right now, I'll share my thoughts on the whole thing so far here: this is a great comic!
For one thing, it looks amazing! Really creative layouts, beautiful colors and an incredibly appealing art style. In fact, it's one of the only things I've ever seen where human and non-human character are seen coexisting and both of them look appealing (as opposed to one looking natural and one looking alien). And the way you draw Chicago is something I'm going to keep in mind when I start drawing my comic strip that's set in South Brooklyn.
For another, while I'm not a big fan of transformation, I love how it's used in a more abstract way here to tell a story about being afraid to show a side of yourself that's so different from what other people know you for. It's something I and a lot of my friends are all-too familiar with.
And not for nothing, but i think I have a crush on Simon <3
I can't wait to see the rest of this story!

Ha, I'm a little bit late to the party by about 10 months but I am quite curious as to how this whole thing works.
So does the transformation happen when you make a deep felt connection with somebody? Does it happen with emotions being heightened? Or some people incapable of turning to fuzz butts because that just isn't who they are? Is it going to be some twist involving him being forced this way? The brown dog seems to really really want him to get off and keep him that way, so far Simon doesn't seem like he really has a choice in the matter because everything is moving so fast that he barely has time to do these things, but then you have comments about wanting to see his apartment. Permanency is a strange thing when it comes to how people View it, it's a really good tool like other people have said to solidify the fact that he doesn't want to go back to pretending, but I'm talking about the ramifications in universe, I think it would require a lot more thought than what I would predict the brown Dogwood allow Simon to make, if the lady hadn't cut in he would have made it permanent completely like that, all I know was the dog isn't allowing him room to actually Ponder the ramifications of becoming this new thing permanently, some curious to see how much playful maliciousness is formed. And whether or not Simon is actually allowed to make a choice or not once he gets the apartment, or is the brown dog just going to force it like he tried to do at the concert.

Is this the end of the comic? Either way, one of the most visually inventive and creative comics I’ve ever read. The writing felt unique and real, the acting was superb, complimented wonderfully by the panel layout, the colors, style, the visual way you showcased emotions. Just incredible storytelling. Bravo, seriously.
wow.. thank you so much for your words. you have no idea how far they go😵.
i am happy with where the comic is. i acknowledge that the story has never ended here in my mind. i would simply like to be able to share the rest of it with you before i die. moons come and go, it looks like that moon is just not here right now. <3thanks again!

I've reread this story a couple times now. I love love the style and the story and the characters and the colors and the compositions! Just know that you've created something... what's the word? Timeless? Worthwhile? Built to last? I think/ hope this comic has made/ will make an impression on lots of people, basically.
