His second wife, Duel, loves dragons and spends time as an anthro golden dragon, in addition to having some dragon scales biomodded onto her. After a while it rubbed off on him, but as a bit of an in-joke, given he often calls her his better half, he went with silver dragon instead. Also, Silver and Gold. :)
Very nice! Fun fact about me: "anthro silver dragon" was the first thing I had for a fursona. This was even before I had accepted myself as trans, so I was still male, too.
I didn't have a lot of sources for "dragons that are more than mindless obstacles for the hero to kill", just AD&D 2nd Edition. So I eagerly dug into that, especially any add-ons that promised dragon characters, like half-dragons (not nearly dragony enough) and Draconians (from stolen and corrupted eggs, they don't have tails for some reason!), and picked up Council of Wyrms (playable PC dragons).
But I didn't like the feel of being big, so I basically threw out what they said about half dragons and went with proper anthro, and silver was the closest match personality-wise, and I didn't mind the color. So that's what I went with. ^_^
Even after I switched off dragon, the feeling stayed with me, and over the years I refined it into Princess. Trying out a variety of things to find what "felt right" and figure things out. Fox and Skunk faded after a few years, Hoofbun faded but came back, and Yinglet appeared, but Dragon was also still there.
Never had multiple forms at once before, but is what it is, I guess. Forms are weird. ^_^;;

Whatever fits you at the time! Nobody can tell you what your sona should be, although many people have tried to with me. "Birds can't be furries", and so on.
Thank you for sharing this with me! I'm sorry it took so long to get back to you.
For my part, I've always been a red tailed hawk, (sometimes people complain I'm a "Tobias fanboy", which I'd protest, but truth is an absolute defense) starting nonanthro in 2002, becoming anthro in about 2005, and then changing the paint job and the body morphology last year in 2023. Long, long time.
Also have the luminari alt-sona, since dolphin was one of the finalists for my sona and while it didn't win, Lumies are cool and Keys is a bestie.

Honestly, I've always been kinda jealous of people who were able to pick one thing and just... stick with it. Every time I've changed species, there's always been this sense of "You were wrong about X, what makes you think you'll be right about Y?" accompanying it. And as old forms pile up, it feels even worse, like I'll never find something I can just say "is me".
The whole question of "If a genie offered to transform you into whatever you wanted, but you can never transform again afterwards, what would you pick?" leaves me stumped, especially now. Same reason I've never gotten a tattoo related to my furry side. Sometimes I kinda think of, like, a progression piece where I leave room for each form, but then like, how much room? Y'know?
I've got some Auxiliary Forms as well, ones that I can still "feel" but don't "persist" without conscious thought. Vaporeon is one of 'em, thanks to Keys. ^_^
